SavvyJack makes quality products that last the test of time. I purchased the original version of the wax years ago and it was top notch quality then. After I ran out, I returned to the site and discovered that they had released a black out version of the wax. Their wax holds up excellent, with a very manly scent. The wax is easy to heat up between your fingers and apply to your moustache. It leaves a long-lasting hold, is easy to store in your pocket and for black haired individuals like myself enhances the appearance of your stache giving it a fuller look. Excellent product, would highly recommend, I will be a lifelong user!

First things first, the customer service lives up to its reputation of being excellent. I mistakenly put the wrong shipping address and reached out to let them know and Michael not only responded immediately but my package still arrived on time. The handwritten note was also a nice touch as others have mentioned. As for the product, it’s exactly what I’ve been looking over the past year and a half of sporting a handlebar mustache. I’ve tried a bunch of other products, from dedicated ‘stache wax to hair products, homemade stuff and even the almighty glue stick. I could never get consistent results and when I did achieve the look I wanted it wouldn’t hold up throughout the day. That’s where SavvyJack reigns supreme. I got the blackout version and it’s truly BLACK! Not dark brown or dark gray like some others. The smell is very subtle in the can and unnoticeable once applied. Having it in my pocket for a few minutes, or leaving in the bathroom while I showered was enough to warm it up and make it workable. The hold is very strong and lasts all day, so I don’t have to keep checking if it’s running wild at any point. It’s strong enough to last through the night, if you let it, but it also washes out easily. I haven’t noticed it transferring on any clothing, pillow cases, etc. I also like that it has a matte finish - I’m not a fan of the shellacked look. I will not only be purchasing more wax in the future, but I look forward to getting a tomahawk, the round brush, and the pocket pick when they are available. I highly recommend this product and I hope this review helps someone make the right decision.

the black mustache wax is easy to apply and has a great skin-feel. it doesn't feel too oily, grimy or sticky. I might go for the natural color next time, as black is a tad too dark for me. Not the strongest hold, but then again, i'm not going for that rock-solid, poke someone in the eye when you kiss them kind of hold.

I like it so far. I need to grow my mustache a little longer. But I have enough to start with, and it will get there! Over all I like pretty well. Thanks

Trying out Mike's @savvyjack.us Blackout mustache wax, and may I say I am impressed as it gives the hold of the natural #savvyjack wax but with out the slight residue of the yellowish natural #savvyjack wax. The black pigment in this new wax formula still holds a natural finish with a deep black for those of us with a black mustache.
